For those that are not able to help out, please just send prayers for their baby and their safety as they drive back and forth to see their sweet baby. If you have time and a little extra love you can send their way to relieve some of the financial stress it would be greatly appreciated. Hazel is getting stronger everyday, but we are still not sure when she will be cleared to come home. We want to try and help lift a little of the burden if possible, if not through donations than through prayer for Hazel to come home and for them to return back to work full-time. They both work hard for their family and have never asked for help, but watching them we can see the emotional and financial toll it has taken on them. Although they have insurance to help cover some of the medical coverage, the time off work to care for the other kids and the 160 mile round trip drive back and forth daily to help feed Hazel and spend time with her at the hospital has really brought them to a point of needing a little assistance. The unforeseen stay in the Neo-natal intensive care unit (NICU) has taken a toll emotionally and financially on their young family. Born at 4 lbs and 15.7 ounces baby Hazel continues to need continuous care and a feeding tube. Our son and daughter in law have been working hard to take care of their other kids and still be there for their new baby. Our sweet baby granddaughter Hazel was born pre-mature on July 31st due to complications with the pregnancy and requires a long hospital stay away from our family.
